Trips of a Lifetime has designed and booked over 1000 trips for 500+ clients for close to 20 years.


I have enjoyed adventures from Budapest to Benin to the Big Island, and from Madagascar to the Magic Kingdom. I swam with the dolphins in Cozumel, rode a camel in Morocco, slid down waterfalls in Costa Rica and sailed a yacht in Mallorca. I've hiked the Alps, ballooned in Napa, and attended the Cannes film festival. 


Meet the Founder, Allison Umbricht

Travel has always been my passion.  I love exploring new destinations while also returning to the places that bring me joy. I think travel is THE best gift you can give to yourself and those you love. 


When I lived in Switzerland for 2 years I used several travel agents but something was always missing.  I felt like they didn't truly know the places I was visiting.  That didn't keep me loyal to them.  My motto is "If I haven't been there I know someone who has." The best recommendations are from someone who has experienced your destination and understands what king of traveler you are.


 In addition to working with my clients, I have shared my travel wisdom in two books I wrote (both available on amazon.com) and multiple appearances on TV (these can be viewed on You Tube).

Jade Mountain

Jade Mountain in St Lucia one of my favorite romantic getaways. Each room has an exposed 4th wall and an infinity pool. The views are amazing, the food is delicious and the service impeccable. All rooms come with a private concierge


Next on my list for a romantic beach getaway... Oil Nut Bay in the BVI.

Costa Rica

The Tulemar Resort & Villas in Costa Rica is the perfect family retreat in an exclusive private community in the jungle. The Manuel Antonio National Park area combines wildlife (monkeys and sloths to name a few!), beautiful beaches and adventure (ziplining & swimming in waterfalls.)


Next on my list for a family vacation... Alaska

Zermatt

Zermatt, Switzerland is an amazing destination throughout the year. Whether hiking or skiing to view the sheer beauty of the Matterhorn and the Swiss Alps, this car free resort is a special one.


Next on my list for an international trip... Iceland.

Park City

The beautfy of ParkCity can be enjoyed all year long. Although skiers flock here in winter time, spring, summer and fall also provide amazing hiking and beautiful views.  The Stein Erikson Lodge is one of luxury and perfect for a group getaway.


Next on my list for a mountain getaway - Big Sky, Montana.
